!IMPORTANT NOTE!

At this time all commissions are SKEBs (surprise me comms) which means no revisions and no WIP updates until finished.
However, for peace of mind, major mistake fixes are always accepted.

How to Order a Commission

Send me a DM on Instagram or Discord @solenaj0y detailing the commission you’re looking for.

Include in your message:

Type of commission (bust, half body, full body, chibi)
Number of characters
Add-ons if any (animals, background, props)
Clear visual character references (I do not accept written descriptions)
Your preferred method of payment

I will give you the price quote with the full breakdown, as well as the payment link. I may ask for clarification on details first if needed.

Once I’ve received your full payment I’ll begin drawing. Your commission may take between 1 week and 1 month from payment to complete.

Details

Canvas Size & File Type

Default is 3200x4000px (portrait or landscape) 300dpi (JPG) except for tiny chibis.
Tiny chibi default is 2000x2000px 300dpi (JPG) & comes with a transparent background version (PNG) automatically.
If you need a specific size, dimension, orientation, or file type please let me know beforehand!

Complexity fee

+$20-$200 depending on design and prop(s) added.

Backgrounds

+$200-$400 depending on complexity.
Simple backgrounds are free.
If you need a transparent background version please let me know beforehand!

Animals

Small $25
eg.mice

Medium $45
eg.cats/dogs

Large $185
eg.horses

Mythical creatures are priced the same as regular characters (eg.dragons/phoenixes) unless they are very small and simple.

Commercial Use

+200% of total commission price except for tiny chibis.
Tiny chibi commercial use +$300 per character.

Terms of Service

All prices are in Canadian Dollars.
Clear references are required.
Acceptance of your commission request is at my discretion.
Full payment is required before I start drawing.
All commissions are by default non-commercial and personal use only unless you’ve paid for commercial use. However, use of my art in your social posts, streams, emotes, and/or on your website is perfectly okay with proper credit! (via tagging my relevant social account @solenaj0y or linking my website solenaj0y.com).
If all the characters in your commission are from an existing fandom and are not your own creation/design, I retain the right to create and sell merchandise of the commissioned art at my discretion, regardless of the license you’ve chosen.
DO NOT use my art for AI training of any kind.
I may use your commission for social posts with or without credit (depending on what you specify in your request).
Refunds are not accepted, please be sure of your commission before buying.
As a thankyu for reading my terms, if you tell me your favourite thing about winter in your request, you’ll get $5 off your commission. ❄️
